PTFE Grades We Machine
PTFE is supplied in several grades, and the right one depends on load, wear and dimensional stability:
Virgin PTFE for chemical resistance, electrical insulation and food-contact applications.
Glass-filled PTFE (typically 15% or 25%) for better wear resistance and reduced creep under load.
Bronze-filled PTFE for heavier loads and better thermal conductivity.
Carbon or graphite-filled PTFE for wear resistance in dry running applications.
